Introduction
Prof. Dr. Ali M. Hashmi is an American Board certified psychiatrist with over 25 years of experience in treating all kinds of psychiatric illness and mental health issues. We offer holistic, integrative and compassionate mental health treatment with a focus on wellness and recovery rather than just symptom focused treatment. Our clients include people of all ages and backgrounds with a wide variety of mental health conditions from milder problems like relationship issues, work stress and burnout, sleep problems etc to the most severe mental illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and severe substance abuse problems. We offer both inpatient and outpatient services with a full range of care including medication management, psychological counseling and psychotherapy, family and marital therapy, psychometric testing as needed, emergency psychiatric consultations in-person and online and other services. Our team includes two psychiatrists, three psychologists and other support staff. Our special areas of interest include mood and anxiety disorders, relationship issues, old age mental health issues including dementia and related illnesses and counseling and psychotherapy including career counseling for young people.
